Terms of Service

By connecting your Facebook account to or communicating through the NDDU Academic Performance Monitoring and Parent-Teacher-Student Communication System (APMPCS) Facebook Application and Messenger integration, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not link your account or access the APMPCS messaging services.

Access to the APMPCS platform is restricted strictly to authorized members of the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University community:

• Authorized Users: Only officially enrolled NDDU students, active faculty members, academic advisers, system administrators, and registered parents or legal guardians are permitted to use this application.
• Verification: Users must link their official NDDU student ID or institutional credentials during account setup. Providing false credentials or attempting to bypass verification is strictly prohibited.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Facebook account. Any action originating from your linked Messenger profile will be attributed to you.

The APMPCS application is an extension of the NDDU academic environment. All users must maintain professional, respectful, and ethical standards when communicating.

• Permitted Uses: Official academic inquiries, performance monitoring alerts, grade status updates, class announcements, and constructive advising messages.
• Prohibited Conduct:
  • Sending harassing, profane, threatening, or sexually explicit messages to teachers, students, or staff.
  • Transmitting spam, commercial promotions, unauthorized links, or non-academic materials.
  • Impersonating another student, parent, or faculty member.
  • Attempting to breach, exploit, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the APMPCS integration or underlying database.

• No Guarantee of Instant Response: Messenger communication via APMPCS does not guarantee immediate replies from faculty or staff outside regular institutional working hours or official school calendar days.
• Official Records Standard: Messenger updates serve as monitoring notifications. Official grades and academic evaluations remain strictly governed by the official NDDU Student Information System (SIS) and Registrar records.
• Service Modifications: NDDU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the APMPCS application at any time without prior notice for system maintenance or administrative upgrades.

NDDU reserves the right to immediately suspend or revoke APMPCS access, unlink Facebook accounts, or take formal disciplinary action under the following circumstances:

• Violation of these Terms of Service or the NDDU Student/Faculty Handbook.
• Student graduation, withdrawal, or official separation from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University.
• Unauthorized security testing, data harvesting, or abuse of the APMPCS Messenger endpoints.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts of General Santos City, Philippines, without prejudice to administrative disciplinary proceedings conducted internally by NDDU.
